CLINICS FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV

  • Welsh Government have very generously sponsored an important project in southern and eastern provinces of Zambia.

  • Clinics have been built in both provinces to improve health care access for people living with HIV (PLHIV).

  • Access to vaccinations including the all important Covid 19 vaccination is now readily available.

  • Solar vaccine fridges have been provided as well as transport packs so that services can be provided for people living in remote locations.

  • Working with Mothers of Africa, the Welsh Government have also provided funding to train 300 health care workers in this speciality field.

  • Training has been led by Mothers of Africa Zambia Trustee Dr Job Mwanza and leading experts from the Zambian Ministry of Health and Social Services including Dr Donald Mumba.
