CLINICS FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV

Welsh Government have very generously sponsored an important project in southern and eastern provinces of Zambia.

Clinics have been built in both provinces to improve health care access for people living with HIV (PLHIV).

Access to vaccinations including the all important Covid 19 vaccination is now readily available.

Solar vaccine fridges have been provided as well as transport packs so that services can be provided for people living in remote locations.

Working with Mothers of Africa, the Welsh Government have also provided funding to train 300 health care workers in this speciality field.

Training has been led by Mothers of Africa Zambia Trustee Dr Job Mwanza and leading experts from the Zambian Ministry of Health and Social Services including Dr Donald Mumba.
