Mr Enock Charles Banda
My full names are Enock Charles Banda with a family tag: Chapangalika. I was born on 30/11/1959 in Lundazi District of Eastern Province of Zambia. I am married with one child, a son.
After a difficult childhood, I managed to complete my Form Five from Chassa Secondary School in Sinda, Eastern Province. Thereafter I did a secondary teachers' course at Copperbelt Secondary Teachers' College in Kitwe where I got a diploma in education after a 6 months compulsory military training under Zambia National Service. Then I joined the Teaching Profession at Chongwe Secondary School in 1982.
Since then I have done two more courses: Advanced diploma in education (1990) & a bachelor's degree in guidance and counseling (from Zambian Open University in 2010).
I have risen in ranks from class teacher to Head of Department through Deputy Head Teacher to the current position of Head Teacher in which I have spent a total of 15 years.
By the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, in 2016 I was posted to Shiyala Community School where I am currently doing my administrative work. Here I have met the Mothers of Africa who are the sponsors of the School. The one year I have worked with this charitable organization has been very exciting! They are one of the most committed, dedicated and serious groups I have met! Suffice to say that they are down-to-earth friendly & a wonderful group to work with!
